The Memory Tree

About the Novel

For Finn, Jude, and Miggy—three troubled boys facing different forms of loneliness—one mysterious tree in Paris offers both wonder and heartbreak.

On its branches hang ornaments, each holding a boy’s single Christmas memory. Every year, they must choose one, not knowing which memory they will physically relive. But once the memory is re-experienced, it disappears forever.

Every choice reshapes their past, defines their present, and remakes their future. This holiday season, The Memory Tree invites readers into a Paris where magic flickers like candlelight.

Excerpt from The Memory Tree

“I clap once, and my dog Baguette leaps into the basket.
I swirl a cloth over the top. One… two… snap my fingers.
The crowd holds its breath.

I yank off the cloth with a flourish—empty!

Applause erupts until I scream, ‘What? Where’s my dog?’

Loud barks echo from behind the crowd.
The audience turns as Baguette struts forward, sunglasses on and a tiny necktie at his collar.

Cheers, whistles, and laughter fill the air.”
